Troy Hunter obtained the J.D. law degree from the University of Victoria. Troy has studied law at the University of Saskatchewan, University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, and at Osgoode Hall Law School. He was first called to the bar with the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2013 and then transferred to the Law Society of British Columbia. Troy Hunter is also a member of the New Westminster Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He has provided Independent Legal Advice in complex corporate and partnership arrangements involving real estate development as well as energy related infrastructure, was involved with major international transactions, due diligence, has appeared before the House of Commons, Standing Committee on International Trade in relation to the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, represented a joinder class before the British Columbia Residential Tenancy Branch. In 2008 Troy Hunter attended the Canadian Constitutional Affairs Conference in Quebec City.
Troy spent time as a co-op student in Bangkok and also as an articling student undertaking training in Jakarta.. He examined major commercial contracts as part of a solar energy plant with off-shore and on-shore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), financing facility for an automotive construction plant, and due diligence related to an initial public offering (IPO) for a major commercial aviation company. In Canada, Troy has also assisted in matters including negotiations for economic development projects in BC providing legal information on matters from hydro power transmission lines, independent power projects, all season resorts and more.
Mr. Hunter is an avid photographer, and writer.
Prior to becoming the Office Manager for New Columbia Law Corporation, Evi worked in Jakarta Indonesia, World Health Organization (WHO) as Project Secretary and she also completed a graduate student internship in Bonn Germany with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. Evi is a graduate of the Vancouver Campus, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) with a Master's Degree in Administrative Science with a focus on Global Leadership.
